It's on page 63, decorated for Christmas with the cutest little picture frames and candles displayed on top. The first thing I looked for on that page was to see how much the fireplace cost! Too bad it isn't for sale. My dolls NEED a fireplace!
Has anyone made a fireplace for their dolls? I think someone on this board has but I don't remember who. I'm going to make one. The craft store has pretty, decorative wood pieces and trim that can be glued on a box and then painted white. Finding a flickering fire for inside will take more searching though. I want to find a battery-operated flickering fire.
Who else votes for an AG fireplace? And to complete the set will be an end table with working lamp, bookshelf with lots of little books and nicknacks and a comfy arm chair with pillow and afghan set. What gal doesn't like to sit in a comfy chair with a good book by a toasty fire.
The Reading Nook Set would be soooo fun to use all year. You can decorate the mantel for Christmas and place a plate of Christmas cookies on the end table. Any of the doll tea cups or glasses would look cute on the end table and during summer, a pretty screen can be placed in front of the fireplace.
I've mentioned a Reading Nook a couple times on this board. I sure wish AG took notice because I'll bet I'm not the only one who has dolls that don't sleep in AG beds all the time.
